Rather than working the rail, some of the world's best-known jockeys will be working the bar tonight at the Celebrity Jockey Bartending Charity Event at Prime Lounge (104 W. Main St.).

This year’s invite‐only event is on Weds., April 28 from 7 to 10 p.m., with doors opening to the public at 10 p.m. with a $10 donation to the Robby Albarado Foundation.

“This event is a fun way to raise money for the less fortunate here in Louisville,” said Robby Albarado, who'll be riding Dean's Kitten in the Derby. “The jockeys that come out have so much fun interacting with the guests – even if the drinks don’t always come out perfect ‐ everyone has a good time supporting a great cause.”

Tips to the jockey bartenders will help supports the homeless and socially and economically disadvantaged here in the Louisville area.
