Bring the family and come out to Buckhead Mountain Grill in Jeffersonville to ring in the season and help Dare to Care Food Bank. This Wednesday, December 3 from 6pm-8pm, Buckhead Mountain Grill is hosting a Candy Cane Making Christmas Party to benefit Dare to Care. Children and families are welcome to come enjoy making candy canes and have a visit with Santa Claus. The first 100 children who arrive will be invited to learn the art of rolling the perfect candy cane. They’ll also get to see Santa and let him know what their Christmas wish list is this year! Admission to this event is a canned good or a $1.00 donation for the Dare to Care Food Bank. The Dare to Care Food Bank Christmas Tree will be decorated with the canned goods that children bring with them. There will be a grand prize as well for the most uniquely shaped candy cane.

Buckhead’s is currently collecting canned goods for their Buckhead’s Cares Christmas Tree. At the event this Wednesday, adults can also enjoy $6 candy cane cocktails, $5 Bells Christmas Ale (and you get to keep the pint), and a $5 special appetizer menu. The hope is that Buckhead Mountain Grill will make this an annual holiday event for Kentuckiana families. Owner Wes Johnson says, “Buckhead Mountain Grill is dedicated to giving back to the communities that we serve. We are very passionate about what we do and the many ways that we can help others.”

Buckhead Moutain Grill is located at 707 Riverside Drive in Jeffersonville.
