If you want a hastily brewed cup of drive-through sludge, Sunergos will not satisfy your needs. While the coffee roasted at Sunergos is glorious, the best choice of beverage is the black and white, a mixture of dark chocolate and white chocolate mocha swirled with what can only be fairy dust and first kisses. If ordered frozen and blended, the black and white has the consistency of a milkshake. It is smooth and fragrant and satisfying, more dessert than drink. If ordered hot, the black and white arrives in a large mug with steam rolling off the latte-art etched foam, almost too pretty to drink.
For those more health conscious, the chai latte presented at Sunergos is a spiced delight. The flavor is delicate and lightly sweet without the sugar overpowering the nutmeg. The plain Sunergos blend, simply black, is redolent with chocolate flavor and a nutty finish. The barristas at Sunergos are expert and friendly, and the atmosphere is one full of camaraderie and caffeine. So mosey on in, grab a squashy armchair and a magazine, enjoy a black and white.
