It's time: you will soon be able to get your hands on some Louisville Cream. No more must you throw a party, attend a big event, or book them for your wedding (though you should probably do all these things) to get your mouth on the cold, creamy delights of a scoop of Louisville's newest artisan ice cream. Soon, you can sign up for their Ice Cream Pint Club and have that deliciousness delivered to your door (or your office!) every month.

Louisville Cream is holding their inaugural ice cream social on Friday, March 13, 8 p.m. at Loui's the Ton (1601 Story Avenue). Admission to the ice cream social will be free, as will the ice cream: Louisville Cream will be serving The Red Queen (goat cheese and honey ice cream with cherry fennel jam and toasted pistachios), Camp Marshmallow (toasted marshmallows with crisp rice brittle) , Ann Arbor City Limits (milk chocolate ice cream with vanilla bean marshmallow creme and chocolate cookies) and a new Beer Engine flavor using their Nut Brown Ale. The bartenders at Loui's the Ton will be selling beer floats using Louisville Cream's Smoked Sea Salt Vanilla Bean, Rasputin Russian Imperial Stout and Bourbon Cream.

At their Ice Cream Social, Louisville Cream will be launching their Louisville Cream Pint Club. Each month, the great minds at Louisville Cream (Darryl Goodner and Zach Hardin) will curate two flavors of ice cream, and you'll have the option of just buy that month's flavor(s) or subscribing for 3 or 12 months. Goodner says "each month there will be new flavors available, sometimes highlighting local businesses. Currently, we're planning on a Louisville coffee flavor set with three different kinds of coffee ice cream from Sunergos, Quills and Heine Bros, each ice cream highlighting a different component of a different coffee, or our holiday six-pack, which will be three different ice creams [partnering with] three different local breweries." If you sign up for the Louisville Cream Pint Club, the ice cream will be delivered to your home or office.
