As the summer of 2015 begins to sizzle, so too do the folks at Bunbury Theatre, who are set to bring the next installment of their 28th season, Women on Fire, to the stage.

The production is a series of twelve monologues that use humor and warmth to share the lives of women from all walks and stations of life, from a Midwestern housewife to a tough advertising executive, and distills a variety of women’s issues to their essence.

The New York Times called the production by playwright Irene O'Garden, “Bewitching…astounding…heartbreaking.”

Women on Fire opens Friday, June 12 at the Bunbury Theatre and runs through June 28. Tickets $22/$19 and $10 for students, and are available online or by calling 502-585-5306. The Bunbury Theatre is located on the third floor of the Henry Clay Building, located at the corner of Third and Chestnut, 604 South Third Street, 40202.
