Who doesn’t love Lucy? The iconic redhead was famous for getting herself into sticky situations and using her quirky ideas to try to get out of them. The I Love Lucy television show aired from 1951 to 1957 and is probably one of the most beloved shows of all time. Its popularity continues today with a stage production. I Love Lucy Live On Stage will be coming to the Kentucky Center for the Performing Arts October 7th through the 12th as a part of Broadway Across America. According to Broadway Across America’s website, the play is set in 1952 and you are in the audience of the Desilu Playhouse studio where the filming of two I Love Lucy episodes will occur. A host will guide you through the process of recording for television, and the Crystaltone Singers will present authentic 1950s ads and jingles.
