A boy and girl romance to an 80s soundtrack in Rock of Ages, the Broadway Across America show set to begin tomorrow at Kentucky Center.

Rock of Ages will be performed on Jan. 25, 26, and 27 at 7:30 p.m., Jan. 28 and 29 at 8 p.m., and Jan. 30 at 6:30 p.m. Matinee shows will take place Jan. 29 at 2 p.m. and Jan. 30 at 1 p.m.  All performances will go on in Whitney Hall at the Kentucky Center for the Arts, located at 501 West Main Street in Louisville, KY.

Tickets for the shows range in price from $22.50 to $64.50 per person. Tickets for Rock of Ages can be purchased at the Kentucky Center box office, the Kentucky Center website, or by calling the toll free line at 1-800-775-7777.

Keep in mind the show contains costumes, words, and moves that could inappropriate those under 14 years of age.  More information can be found at the Kentucky Center for the Arts website.

Rock of Ages features the familiar story of boy-meets-girl.  Yet, while the girl is a small-town type, the guy is a rocker who meets her in a club in Los Angeles.  Their romance is told through the famous songs of the 80s, including ones by Journey, Styx, Pat Benatar, Poison, Whitesnake, REO Speedwagon and others.

The cast includes Constantine Maroulis, formerly of American Idol.

Broadway Across America will next present the music of ABBA in Mamma Mia.  The show will take place in February.
