Arts in Healing
The Kentucky Center partners with renowned healthcare providers in the area to take highly acclaimed local and national artists beyond the walls of traditional concert venues and into places of healing, providing quality performances and interactive arts experiences to patients, families and caregivers.
ArtsReach
For 20 years, ArtsReach has collaborated with community centers throughout Metro Louisville to provide professional development, quality arts programs, performance opportunities and ongoing studio art instruction for thousands of youth, families and adults with disabilities.
General Education
Education plays an important part of the Kentucky Center’s mission. The Kentucky Center has served as a major arts education resource for Kentucky’s students and teachers. Professional development for Kentucky’s public school teachers focuses on Arts Integration at the Next Generation Academies.
Governor’s School for the Arts
Each year, thousands of talented Kentucky high school students audition for their chance to take part in GSA's three-week intensive summer residency program. GSA also provides scholarship opportunities and hands-on training.
Programming Outreach
The Kentucky Center brings many of our world class and acclaimed regional and local performers out into the community for dynamic performances, presentations and master classes. By engaging the community with these artists The Kentucky Center is helping the “arts burst into life throughout the Commonwealth.”
