Creating an Artful Organization will take place at Idea Festival at noon on Saturday, October 2, 2010.  Creative Capital Executive Director and President Ruby Lerner plus four of their  unique artists will be part of a discussion that focuses on how Creative Capital is able to help create a more inspired world.  The grants they offer support projects in many fields including visual arts, video, emerging fields, and "innovative literature".  Their grantees have  reported that they have been able to secure more than $8 million in additional grant monies after receiving Creative Capital support.

According to their website,"... Creative Capital has committed more than $20 million in financial and advisory support to 325 projects representing 406 artists, and has reached an additional 3,000 artists through its Professional Development Program."

The discussion will also cover the non-profit's inception, it's approach to supporting artists, their projects, and the lessons learned along the way.   The seminar should be helpful to any enterprise interested in innovation.
