Joey Wagner is a businessman whose name is synonymous with Louisville's social scene. From Wagner's position as the Managing Partner at PRIME Lounge in Downtown Louisville to his company the J Wagner Group which is an events, marketing, and promotions company; he can be seen all over this city wearing clothes that allow him to stay true to what he likes without giving in to the trends. Wagner has been nominated as one of the men for The Voice Tribune's Best Dressed event this Saturday night here in Downtown Louisville.
What do you think of the organization "Dress for Success"?
“They are an amazing organization. I think being able to provide women with clothing before they have a big job interview is awesome; it gives them opportunity when they might not really think they have one. Anytime an organization can help put clothes on someone’s back when they can’t I think is great. “
What are your favorite things in your closet?
“Jeans, T-Shirt, & Adidas Tennis Shoes because I like to always be comfortable but a lot of times I will wear an Adidas Golf Shirt and shorts during the summer. I do love Adidas because their clothes are so comfortable. But when I dress up I like a simple black suit and I love bow tie’s especially with a lot of color. ”
What grabs your attention in fashion; shows, shops, people?
“ #1 the models; having good models is what makes the show(s). Heyman Talent of Louisville is the best around and all their models know how to walk and are professional. #2 the music & clothes; if you don’t have good music and you don’t have good fashion it’s not a good show. ”
