Last week, my husband and I were really in the mood to go out to dinner. We hadn't been out in weeks and were getting really sick of staying home staring at one another over bland chicken each night. Unfortunately, Jack hadn't napped and was in a terrible mood. My husband and I looked at one another in confusion as dinner time loomed near. Should we even bother going out if Jack was going to be throwing a hysterical tantrum the entire time? We decided to take our chances to go out to dinner and settled on Bluegrass Brewing Company in St. Matthews.
It turns out, BBC was exactly what our entire family needed. My husband and I feasted on some tasty veggie burgers and drank good micro-brews while Jack heartily enjoyed the relaxed, child-friendly vibe of the restaurant. There were tons of other young families there, so we didn't have to feel embarrassed when Jack decided to hurl a fork across the restaurant. Best of all, our trio really enjoyed getting out and about for a change. Sometimes it's hard to force yourself to get out of the house with a cranky baby. But in my experience, it's better to try.
We also found out that the St. Matthews location of BBC is having a Superbowl party this Sunday. If you are wanting to throw down for the big game, but don't want the hassle of throwing a party, BBC is offering to do it for you. $25 will get you an all-you-can-eat buffet and 3 beer tickets.
