Join the Halloween crowds looking for fun this Saturday, October 25 at the 11th annual Bardstown Bound Boo Fest. It starts at 2pm and will continue through “the witching hour.” It’s presented by Schlafly Beer, Bardstown Road and Baxter Avenue, and the Douglass Loop. Shop the Highlands local shops, restaurants, and bars; grab some samples, get some savings, and enjoy good beer this weekend in the Highlands.

Some of the highlights of this weekend’s Halloween-related event include:

    • Schlafly beer specials in participating bars and restaurants
    • Dinner specials featuring  Schlafly Beer (such as Dragon King’s Daughter offering beer specials and serving Schlafly ale ice cream) as a main ingredient!
    • Treats for kids in all participating boutiques and restaurants
    • ValuMarket will host the 2nd annual candy maze and costume contest
    • There will be free Thirsty Pedaler rides from 3pm-5pm (tips are encouraged). There will be a pick up and drop off area at Valu Market
    • Boo Alley will feature food trucks and arts and crafts with proceeds benefiting Kosair Charities
    • See some fall seasonal furs, designer clothing, accessories at the Nearly New Shop

Visit the stores on the north and south side of Eastern Parkway as they open their doors for customers to purchase fabulous and unique gifts. Event goers can also have a taste of luscious local cuisine, listen to live entertainment, and raise a glass and toast to the 11th Annual Bardstown Bound  BooFest.

See their website, and “come get haunted in the Highlands once again, and be “Bardstown Bound!”
