Ferdinand’s Ball will be held tonight, May 2, at the Muhammad Ali Center. Old Friends Thoroughbred Retirement Center, in Georgetown, Kentucky, will be the beneficiary of the event.

Peyton Siva will be the guest host for this year’s event. He was a member of the 2013 University of Louisville Basketball NCAA National Championship team.

Jockey Rosie Napravnik will receive the 2013 Ferdinand’s Award for her continued support of Old Friends and ethical thoroughbred retirement! Rosie is one of America’s hottest young jockeys, winning the 2012 Kentucky Oaks and the 2012 Breeders’ Cup Juvenile. She will be riding Derby horse Mylute out of post 6 in this year’s Kentucky Derby.

Entertainment will be by Louisville’s favorite cover band The Crashers.

For more information on this event please go to the event website here.

The Muhammad Ali Center is located at 144 North Sixth St., in downtown Louisville.
