We see you appreciate a good vintage. But there comes a time to try something new. Click here to head over to the redesigned Louisville.com. It's where you'll find all of our latest work. And plenty of the good ol' stuff, too, looking better than ever.

    1. Start using your turn signals

We actually have an area here called SPAGHETTI JUNCTION. It’s like a citywide cry for help.

    2. Stop dissing Southern Indiana

Downtown New Albany is a major thing now, and some people are saying it’s set to be the new NuLu. With restaurants like Feast BBQ and The Exchange and Habana Blues, or shops like Billow, Quills, and The Art Store, New Albany is up-and-coming. Clarksville, on the other hand…keep making fun of Clarksville.

    3. Stop eating at chain restaurants, chain coffee places, chain whatever, and support our thriving local scene.

There are way too many amazing local restaurants, coffee shops, breakfast places, whatever for you to patronize a big chain store. Unless you got a gift card, in which case you are excused.

    4. Actually attend Oaks or Derby

I can’t tell you how many people I know who’ve lived here their whole lives and haven’t ever been to either race. It’s a huge deal, guys, and it’s not just for tourists. At least go to a horse race at some point.

    5. Drink more bourbon

Alternately, learn to love bourbon and get committed to promoting bourbon tourism at home. Get a favorite bourbon. Make some bourbon cocktails. Patronize some of the best bourbon bars around. Learn to talk about it with some iota of intelligence. Stand in line for Pappy like the rest of us. Just don't go too far with this one.
