    Bit to Do

2012 Winter Jam comes to Louisville's Freedom Hall this Friday [Music]

No Ticketmaster “surcharges,” and no restoration fees with these tickets. Yes, you still have to pay the $8 to park your car, but the Kentucky Expo Center has to have their hand in the pot.

But $10 will get you in the door to what has become Christian music’s largest annual tour. Hosted by Newsong, Winter Jam features 10 artists, including Skillet, Sanctus Real, Group 1 Crew, For King and Country and Building 429.

Tickets to the event will only be sold at the door (cash or check-leave your plastic in your pocket) and the doors of Freedom Hall will open at 6pm, and the concert begins at 7.

If past is prologue, patrons should think about heading to the Hall straight from work…or…don’t you have a dentist appointment Friday afternoon? Previous concert-goers report capacity crowds and people arriving early to line up for the first-come, first-served seating.

Once inside, credit and debit cards will be accepted for merchandise and concessions.

Visit the Winter Jam 2012 website for more details.

    About Michelle Rynbrandt

Before landing in the Possibility City, Michelle toured the country performing in various regional theatres. Having been there and done that, she can honestly say that Louisville's cultural opportunities are second to none.
