Do you love beer?  Do you like sampling different beers all in one location?  Do you like supporting a good cause while loving beer and sampling different beers?  Well then, I have made plans for you for this Saturday....the 6th annual Keg Liquors Fest of Ale on June 4th from 3-7pm at St. Anthony's Catholic Church, 320 N. Sherwood Ave in Clarksville, Indiana.

This year's event is to benefit the Crusade for Children and will feature more than 40 breweries and three craft beer distributors serving samples of more than 150 craft and import beers.  In addition to all this wholesome yumminess there will be hamburgers, hot dogs, & brats being cooked up along with live music and a silent auction.  It's going to be a fun and relaxed event and participants are encouraged to bring a lawn chair, kick back, and have a great time.

Last year the Fest of Ale raised more than $5,600 for the WHAS Crusade for Children and according to owner Todd Antz, "We are looking to top that number this year".  The event will go off rain-or-shine and will be held outside under a tent unless the weather decides to act up, then they'll move it indoors.  Tickets are $25 in advance or $30 on the day of the event.  You can pick up tickets at Keg Liquors, 617 E. Lewis & Clark Pkwy., Clarksville; New Albanian Brewing Company, 3312 Plaza Drive, New Albany; BBC Taproom, 636 E. Main St., Louisville; or online at http://www.kegliquors.com/fest_of_ale.html

I'll be out there wearing an Lville Beer tshirt & doing some live tweeting for @louisvillecom...if you see me say "hey".
