    Each year, the Friends of the Waterfront presents the Silver Anchor Awards to individuals, groups or companies who demonstrate a sincere commitment to the development of the Louisville area waterfront. RiverPark Place, the Waterfront District's largest residential development takes the 2007 honor for helping to transform the area.

As chairwoman of this year’s Bourbon Ball, Debbie Huddleston is busy working on plans for the early October event.  She became involved in the Kentucky Museum of Arts and Craft (KMAC) because of her passion for sustaining a place that showcases Kentucky's rich art and craft heritage.
