The annual Pegasus Parade is "the Derby" of KDF events for kids. It will march down Broadway from Campbell to 9th St. at 5:00 pm.

Yesterday, I took a look at past Derbys and movies that go along with each era. Essentially, I’ve been taking a look at the winners, interesting facts, and assigning a horse racing related movie to every decade and that brings us to today, where we’re up to the 1950’s.
Well, were within days from the most exciting two minutes in sports history and last year at this time I took a little bit of time to share some movies related to the “sport of kings” that would get everybody in the mood for the Derby.

One of the country’s most popular retailers, Macy’s, is the title sponsor of the Kentucky Derby Festival’s Spring Fashion Show for the first time. The annual show is Thursday, Mar. 28, in the Showroom of Horseshoe Southern Indiana. The night starts with cocktails and boutique shopping at 5:30 p.m., followed by dinner at 7 p.m. and the runway show at 8 p.m.
