With both teams struggling in football, and with most of the basketball season left to be played, here's what the wish lists for players and fans of both UK and UL could contain!

UK- A permanent and regular point guard
UL- Rick Pitino in a white suit again… every game

UL- a redo of the November 29th game against WKU
UK- a redo of VMI, and Gardiner Webb, San Diego game in 2007

UK- A warmer destination for a bowl game than Memphis
UL- A trip to ANY bowl game

UL- A handful of fans want UL to lose Kragthorpe
UK- ALL UK fans want UL to keep Kragthorpe

UK: AD Mitch Barnhart wants UK to be have 15 championships by 2015
UL: AD Tom Jurich just wants to keep his job… and Kragthorpe’s job as well

UK: Fans are happy Tubby Smith is gone
UL: Fans are happy Tubby Smith is gone

Wish List for the UK/UL basketball game on Jan 4:

UL: Hoping a home court advantage will translate into a consecutive win against UK
UK: Glad they aren’t playing Jan 4 at Rupp (see wish 2 )

UL: That Michael Porter plays the whole game for UK
UK: That Michael Porter fouls out in the first 10 minutes

UK: That UL shoots the 3 pointer like they did against WKU (6 for 30)
UL: That UK continues to be careless with the ball (UK 3rd leading team in nation at 21 TO/game)

UL: That the recent tradition of winning the yearly football game means losing the basketball game
UK: That that recent tradition changes this year

And, to get a taste of the rivalry, be sure to come to Freedom Hall on Sunday, December 14th at 2 PM as the WOMEN'S Wildcat and Cardinal teams face off in this battle in the Bluegrass!
