Ever wonder what happened in Oz before Dorothy got there?
Wicked, winner of three Tony Awards, a Grammy, and a slew of other major awards, is the story of the witches of Oz…and how they came to be before Dorothy dropped in.
Highly acclaimed nationwide, Wicked flies back into Louisville as part of the PNC Broadway series, September 12-30 at the Kentucky Center.
The musical, which first opened on Broadway in 2003 and includes songs such as, “Popular,” and “What is this Feeling?” was seen in Louisville in 2010 and in January of 2009, when it played to nearly sold-out audiences, save the ones that occurred during the momentous ice storm that month.
Tickets for Wicked go on sale Friday, June 8 at 6 AM (online only) via the Kentucky Center Box Office, and Ticketmaster.com .
Tickets will be available starting at 10 AM in person or by phone by calling (502) 584-7777.
