WHY Louisville has launched its “Kids Are Alright” T-shirt Design contest and it is up and running until September 9. Here’s the scoop and the entire list of contest rules from the WHY Louisville Facebook page:
"Kids Are Alright" T-shirt Design Contest Rules:
1. Drawings must be submitted by September 9th
at either WHY Louisville location (1583 Bardstown Rd or 806 E Market St) or via email to info@whylouisville.com
2. Drawing does not necessarily need to be Louisville themed. Drawings can be of anything at all.
3. Kids must be 10 years of age or younger.
4. Drawings must have name, age and parent contact info (email is preferred) listed
5. By entering the contest, the contestant understands that submissions may be used by WHY Louisville to promote the contest and may potentially be used as a t-shirt design.
I have been so impressed with all of the t-shirt designs I’ve seen so far by Louisville area kids, some as young as 3 years old. I am spreading the word at home as well and have my 10-year-old daughter getting in on the artiness, since that is right up her creative soul alley. I can’t wait to see what she dreams up. Kids ages 10 and under have until Monday, September 9 to submit their designs. Their drawing could be turned into the next WHY Louisville t-shirt. Here are the potential winnings, according to the WHY Louisville website:
First place winners will receive:
- Your drawing printed on an official WHY Louisville T-shirt!
- Five free shirts with your design to share with friends and family
- $50 shopping spree at WHY Louisville
- Art supplies
Second place winners will receive:
