To the national scene, White Reaper is Louisville's next biggest thing. That could all come to fruition in mid-July when they release their debut album White Reaper Does It Again and set foot on the Forecastle stage in the same weekend.

For the next week, you have one less excuse to say you have never heard of this band because this week on iTunes, White Reaper's song "Make Me Wanna Die" is free. Download the song now here

"Make Me Wanna Die," sure, has a pessimistic title to it but still the music is the catchy, Ramones-esque constant beat that they make their own. There is also an intriguing synthesizer riff. The sounds they give the keys is my personal favorite part about White Reaper, the part the distinguishes them from just being dudes making racket. It makes them much more complex.

White Reaper Does It Again is a 12 track effort to be released on July 17 and clocks in at approximately 37 minutes. There are no repeats from their previous self titled EP.
