    The Bourbon Classic

    This weekend marks the end of the 5th Anniversary Bourbon Classic, with two incredible days of events at the Kentucky Center. On Friday, come out for the Cocktail & Culinary Challenge. Teams of master bartenders will be matched with an acclaimed chef and Bourbon Classic sponsor distillery – and vie for the title of “perfect cocktail” and "perfect small plate." Then on Saturday, there will be two sessions of the Bourbon Classic University before the week-long event culminates with the spectacular Bourbon Classic TASTE, with bourbon tastings, bourbon-inspired food and more.     Dogfish Head + Record Store Day: The Tour

    Along with their Record Store Day partnership, Dogfish Head has also teamed up with Crosley Radio to kick off a 29-city tour. This rolling gallery celebrating indie music, original artwork, Crosley record players and off-centered beers will be stopping at independent record stores and craft beer bars throughout the country – stop by and check out their listening stations, beer-inspired artwork and sweet Dogfish/Crosley swag! The tour will kick off this weekend with stops in Louisville on both Friday and Saturday. Check out their website for more info!

    Kentucky Flea Market Spring Fling | Kentucky Expo Center

    First Friday Trolley Hop | Downtown Louisville

    The Republic Bank First Friday Hop event is every first Friday and includes downtown art galleries, retailers and restaurants that will be open extended hours with discounts and refreshments. Each First Friday night, the ZeroBus drops you off at all the best shopping spots downtown has to offer.

    Vanya and Sonia and Masha and Spike | Thrust Theatre

    Head out to UofL's Thrust Theatre for a performance of Vanya and Sonia and Masha and Spike. Old resentments flare up between siblings when Vanya's and Sonia's movie-star sister Masha shows up with her new boy toy, Spike. This play runs until Sunday, with two performances on Saturday.

    Agent Orange + The Queers + Guttermouth | The Cure Lounge

    2017 Speed Art Museum Gala

    This Saturday, the Speed celebrates its benefactors with a special white/black-tie gala. Attendees will enjoy cocktails, dinner, dancing and desserts. At 9 p.m., Late Night at the Speed begins, with more drinks and dancing!

    Alone & Together Concert Series | Kaiju

    This is the second edition of Kaiju's new concert series, in which prominent local musicians perform solo sets followed by a collaborative, improvised performance at the end of the night. This week, they're featuring Jonathan Glenn Wood (Old Baby), Cat Casual (Cat Casual & the Holy Midnight, Lucky Pineapple) and classically trained violinist Sara Soltau.

    11th Annual Kentucky Women's Book Festival | University of Louisville

    The 11th annual Kentucky Women’s Book Festival will feature local authors from a wide variety of genres, from young adult fiction and poetry to cookbooks and novels. The festival will include appearances and talks by Kim Michele Richardson, Ronni Lundy, Susan Reigler, Gwenda Bond, Kathleen Driskell and many more. The festival sessions and presentations are free, with an optional $10 lunch.

    Trivia Night and Silent Auction | City On A Hill Studio
