Old Louisville has the country’s most extensive collection of Victorian mansions and picturesque homes, and this Friday and Saturday you can tour some of the prettiest ones! I just want to go so I can snoop through those grand old mansions. This would be the perfect event to take your mom as a Christmas present—moms love this stuff, trust me.

Businesses all along Bardstown Rd, Baxter Ave, Barret Ave. and Douglass loop will be offering entertainment, food, drinks, discounts, and live entertainment. Two trolleys filled with holiday musicians will ride up and down the corridor offering free rides. Four Roses Bourbon hosts the Fourth Annual Cocktail Contest in the restaurants and bars.

As you’ve no doubt read, we are very, very, VERY excited about Meta’s opening at 425 West Chestnut Street. Finally, a place to get pre-prohibition era cocktails in this town (kidding!) Seriously though, the downtown cocktail bar promises to be a fantastic addition to the bar scene, and we can’t wait to visit.
