
If you are a Francophile, you might want to head over to the Ursuline Arts Center this Sunday, April 28, for the Louisville Youth Choir’s annual Pops Concert, Viva La France! At 7:00 p.m.
The performance features selections from musical works that include French themes, locations and composers that will include Beauty and the Beast, The Phantom of the Opera, The Hunchback of Notre Dame and many other French-inspired works.
The Louisville Youth Choir celebrates its 46th birthday this year and is comprised of one hundred youth from the area and includes students from sixty area public, private and Catholic schools. . The Louisville Youth Choir is artist in residence at Sacred Heart School for the Arts, a member of Sacred Heart Schools, and is a member group of the Fund for the Arts.
So, this weekend, get out and support the arts in your community and get a little taste of France without needing to dig out your passport.
