Most talk of Final Fours around the state of Kentucky means late March/early April... but not this year.  After defeating UCLA last weekend at Cardinal Park, UofL will be traveling to the College Cup for the first time in its history.

After a dramatic last minute victory against the Bruins, the Cardinals earned their right to travel to Santa Barbara to take on North Carolina this Friday evening.

Fans are invited out to send off the Cardinals soccer team to the College Cup this afternoon, December 7th, at 5:00pm at the KFC Yum Center in the lobby.  The first 500 kids into the event will receive a free UofL soccer tshirt and coaches and players will  be available for autographs.

Their 22-game unbeaten streak marks a new Big East record for men's soccer as they are now 19-0-3 for the season.  It's been a wildly successful season for UofL and here's to hoping they come home with the trophy.

Best of luck to the Cardinals!
