Usually when talking about being watched while sleeping, the story is creepy or about a creeper - unless the conversation is art.  University of Louisville’s Photographic Alliance is looking at sleep and sleepers in their upcoming “While You Sleep” show. The show will exhibit 13 student artists from a variety of academic disciplines as they all capture the themes of slumber.
Visitors will enjoy the exhibit and music, and only a $4 donation is suggested.  The money goes to support The Photographic Alliance, which is an open student organization for those from any major. The students join to enrich their photography, as well as the community.  The Photographic Alliance performs community service projects, like a recent visit to the Americana Center to make cyanotypes with children.
“While You Sleep” will be on Thursday, February 10, from 7:30 p.m. to 10 p.m. The exhibit is hosted by O.Z. Gallery on Frankfort Avenue, a gallery opened last year by a group of University of Louisville glassblowing students.
