    Print this page

A lady of nobility becomes a nun as the world becomes more violent in Diologues of the Carmelites, which the U of L School of Music will present this weekend.

Diologues of the Carmelites will take place on Apr. 5 at 8 p.m. and Apr. 7 at 2 p.m.  Both performances will happen at the Bomhard Theater inside the Kentucky Center for the Arts, located at 501 West Main Street in downtown Louisville.

Tickets for each show are $25 per regular admission and $10 for students (when purchased at the box office).  All tickets can be purchased at the Kentucky Center box office, the Kentucky Center website, or by calling the box office at 1-800-775-7777.

A young lady at the center of Diologues of the Carmelites becomes a nun against the desires of her family.  She wants to escape the growing violence in the world around her.  However, when the French Revolution starts, everything changes.

More information on the show can be found at the Kentucky Center website.
