    Silk Scarf Painting at Kentucky Museum of Arts and Crafts

    Get those creativity juices flowing with this workshop on Saturday from noon until four. Just in time for Mother's Day, you can learn to make a beautiful hand-made silk scarf from artist Luci Mistratov. This unique gift will make any mom proud.     Greater Louisville March for Babies

    Come show your support Saturday at Slugger Field for the March of Dimes charity.  This event will benefit the more than half a million babies that are born premature and the more then 120,000 that are born with serious birth defects each year. The walk start at 8 am and there are tons of kid-friendly events like cake decorating to keep the little ones entertained!     Children's Story Hour at Reader's Corner Bookstore

    Got a budding bookworm on your hands? Hop on down to the Reader's Corner Bookstore in the heart of St. Matthews on Saturday morning for a children's story hour. The story hour begins at 11 am and will feature mother's day themed books. Each child who participates will receive a free book and make mother's day cards. Reading makes kids hungry, so refreshments will be served as well.  

     

    Mother's Day Cake Decorating at ValuMarket 

    Dads...listen up!!! Are you short on cash, but yearn to get your wife an amazing gift for Mother's Day? ValuMarket at Mid-City Mall has the answer for you! On Saturday from 10 am to 2 pm, they are offering up Mother's Day cake decorating for kids. For a small fee, your little ones can decorate a sheet cake for mom that will tickle her into a sugar coma!
