The Mommy Nest Louisville is a non-profit organization providing a free support base for families. Their nest serves the purpose of securing strong foundations for families to find support and encouragement from their peers and to provide them the tools (both educational and recreational) to enable them to reach into the local community to aid and assist other families. Their community of moms meets online and in person to network and provide support to each other and has over 1,900 fans/followers members.
Hosting their Spring Fling on Sunday, March 4, 2012 from 1:00 p.m. to 5:00 p.m. at the Woodhaven Country Club. This event will be open to the their members and the general public. Admission is free for members and just a dime per person for non-members. They will be celebrating the start of spring with all sorts of games, events, activities, food, and more. Most everything will be free or just a dime per attraction, which will help to raise money for the March of Dimes. The day will include performances by the Mike Bush Band, Magic Shows, Music Sessions with Heartland Music Together, Face Painting, Character appearances, Balloon animals, Cotton Candy, Popcorn, Slushies and Cake. A fundraising raffle will also be taking place with all sorts of great prizes. Tickets are $1 for 1, $3 for 5, or $10 for 20.
