What's funder than Thunder? Letting you know about the Thunder Preview party today from 5pm til 9pm, that's what. It is being held at Bowman Field at the Central American Airways Flying Service hangar at Bowman Field and I had the pleasure of going to the one held a couple of years ago in the same space. Then, as they will this evening, they had a bouncer and inflatable slide as well as other activities for kids. Admission is either a Pegasus pin or a McDonalds Thunder Funder cup. Pegasus Pins are available at many local retailers such as your local grocery or convenience store and the cups are available at McDonalds. Purchasing the cups help fund each years Thunder Over Louisville, so drink up.
In keeping with the Derby Festival's 2011 Superhero theme, kids are allowed and encouraged to dress up as their favorite Superhero. A few other attractions will be, both military and civilian, pilots and one of the crew flying in Thunder Over Louisville. A plane will be on hand for viewing and a food concession stand will help fill your belly if you get hungry.
