    Bit to Do

They’re law students by day…rock musicians by night.

This coming Thursday, October 27 at 6:00 p.m., area law professionals and UofL law faculty and staff will bang their very brainy heads at the seventh annual Lawlapalooza at Phoenix Hill Tavern. The battle of the bands and fundraising event will benefit the Judge Ellen B. Ewing Memorial Fund, which supplies fellowships for UofL law students in the areas of family law, domestic violence, spousal abuse and HIV/AIDS. Eight bands—with names such as Sam I Amicus and 100% Legal—will make their case for musical supremacy.

Phoenix Hill is located at 644 Baxter Avenue. Tickets are $10 and are available at the door or in advance at UofL’s Brandeis School of Law Resource Center, Room 272, 8:00 a.m. to 5:30 p.m. weekdays. For more information, visit www.law.louisville.edu/lawlapalooza.
