Every Wednesday night, the Highlands nightlife scene takes it up a notch at Baxter’s. This is the only place in town you can find $1 draft beers and well drinks while experiencing full contact karaoke. That’s right, karaoke to the full effect!
And it’s okay if you’re unfamiliar with this type of amusement. Just think of all the fun that comes with a basic karaoke machine, but if it was replaced by a full four-piece band of musicians. Now is your chance to see what it’s like to perform on stage with a live band. And the list of available karaoke songs is endless, so whether you prefer to rock out to 80’s hair metal, or you’re more of an Adele when handed a microphone, Baxter’s karaoke band is sure to meet your needs when it comes to backing you up with live music.
Full contact karaoke begins at 10pm every Wednesday night, along with the incredible $1 drink specials. But getting there early will give you a chance to grab a table and choose something delicious from Baxter’s impressive dinner menu. We’re not talking typical bar food here. Baxter’s offers some amazing options you can’t find at other bars. Some of their classic dishes include Nashville Nachos (which have everything you love about nachos but with kettle-cooked potato chips instead of tortilla chips) and Roasted Red Pepperjack Pasta, which has pulled chicken and pork on bowtie pasta. And for your vegetarian friends, Baxter’s has a grilled sweet potato burger that’s to die for!
