Sherlock Holmes. Need I say more? The character of Sherlock Holmes has been portrayed by many an actor in film, television, and stage over the past century, yet his popularity never seems to waver. Arthur Conan Doyle’s creation is hotter than ever right now fresh off the heels of two movies starring Robert Downey Jr. and two hit television shows, Sherlock starring Benedict Cumberbatch and Elementary starring Johnny Lee Miller. In fact, on a recent vacation to London, I experienced nearly a 3 hour wait just to explore the iconic 221B Baker Street. The resurgence of Sherlock’s popularity seems to have inspired Derby Dinner playhouse in their latest endeavor. The Game’s Afoot is a production based on an actor who has portrayed Sherlock on stage. The beloved Broadway star invites his cast mates to join him for a weekend in his castle. When one of his guests is stabbed to death, the party is over and the mood turns sour. Will an investigation ensue? Find out by purchasing tickets here! Tickets range in price from $36-$41 depending on the date and time and include a delicious meal. The production will run from October 7th through November 16th, just in time for a little Halloween mystery!
