Strictly for the ladies: Paint the Town Pink preview [Society]

For a city that is normally painted cardinal red, Louisville will opt for a cherry blossom pink this Friday night.

In honor of breast cancer awareness, Pinktober continues with a special event that is strictly for the ladies. Back with another Ladies Night Out, Star One, LLC is hosting a special expo this Friday, October 19 that promises to pamper and rejuvenate women across the city, while also giving back.

An evening of luxury and fun, the Paint the Town Pink event will take place at the Louisville Executive Aviation Hanger at Bowman Field, beginning at 6:30 p.m. and lasting until 11 p.m.

Sponsored by The Catering Company, Therapeutic Touch, Mary Kay, and many more, the expo will feature several interactive vendors that will perform free beauty services for all attendees. Throughout the night, guests can try a new hairstyle or play in airbrush makeup - thanks to New Attitude Hair Salon - or simply relax with free massages by Therapeutic Touch. Guests can also get a workout in with a self-defense course, Zumba class, and a belly dancing class taught by Ruric Amari. Guests can even do a little shopping, thanks to local vendors and a silent auction.

With tasty cocktails and hors d’oeuvres, Paint the Town Pink is a grown woman affair for those 18 and over.

Tickets are $20 in advance and $25 at the door. A portion of the proceeds will benefit Making Strides Against Breast Cancer of Louisville and the American Cancer Society.
