    Stage One Family Theatre has put out the call for auditions to multiple plays in their upcoming summer schedule. Looking to fill out the cast of three upcoming productions, they welcome those interested to make an appointment and give it their best shot. 

    The first play they wish to cast is Joseph and the Technicolor Dreamcoat, the familiar Andrew Lloyd Webber musical. They are looking for leads ages 15 and up as well as a Children's Chorus ages 8-14. To audition, you must supply the piano sheet music for accompaniment and perform 16 bars of an upbeat Broadway type song. 

    The second play is The Marvelous Wonderettes, a musical set in the 50's that uses classic songs to tell the story of four girls' experience with high school. Stage One is looking to cast four female leads aged around 16-25. To audition you must supply piano sheet music for accompaniment and perform 16 bars of an upbeat Broadway type song.

    The last show is The Odd Couple, the Neil Simon play about two opposing roommates and their difficult time living together. The theater looks to cast two male leads, a male ensemble, and two female ensembles, all aged 30 and up. To audition, you must deliver a 60 second contemporary comedic monologue. 

    Every one hoping to audition must provide one headshot and one resume. The audition dates are as follows:

    Ages 8-14

    March 10th and March 17th

    Ages 15 and up

    March 9th, 10th, and 16th

    March 9th auditions will be held at the Kentucky Center in Todd Hall, 501 West Main Street. All other dates will see auditions at ArtSpace in the 2nd floor Rehearsal Hall, 323 West Broadway.
