I visited Peacock Boutique yesterday and literally drooled over the rack of new Spring/Summer '11 Rachel Roy dresses - here now through Sunday only - from NYC. I fell in love with a pink and white printed silk twill shift dress with double layered draping. The white logo belt and ballerina neckline complete a flattering yet demure design.

Also on display at the trunk show are Derby hats from Philip Treacy, milliner and designer for the Royal Family. Several of his custom Derby hats are available for purchase this weekend so if you're as obsessed as I am with anything British, you won't want to miss your chance to dress like one!

Tina Miaoulis of MemSahib Couture is an Australian hat designer (and preferred designer by Lisa Borel, wife of Derby-winning jockey Calvin) who also several custom designs available for purchase. In fact, she'll be in-store at Peacock the entire week before Derby to custom create hats for customers!

Peacock Boutique carries gorgeous hats and dresses to die for so don't miss your opportunity to shop this weekend's trunk show! They're located at 2828 Frankfort Avenue and are open Monday-Saturday 10 a.m. - 7 p.m. and Sundays from noon- 5 p.m.

    About Elise Jenkins

I'm a shopping addict on a budget who loves everything from one-of-a-kind boutique finds to the clearance sales at Macy's. I celebrate the small things in life, like $8 Gap jeans, the perfect V-neck tee at Target, and Zappos outlet sales. My passions include ridiculously high heeled shoes, celebrity gossip, chocolate, fashion photography, coffee, Muse, gin, and my amazingly patient boyfriend and his vivacious 4 year old who isn't afraid to tell me when my shirts are "soooo ugly!" I write a style blog called "TheShoportunist.com" which is a reflection of my love for all things fashion.
