A sister investigates the possible conduct of an inappropriate nature in Doubt, a Parable, this weekend at Shelby County Community Theatre.

Doubt, a Parable, takes place on Oct. 19 and 19 at 7:30 p.m. each night. A matinee will happen on Oct. 20 at 2:30 p.m. All performances are to happen at Shelby County Community Theatre, located at 801 Main Street in downtown Shelbyville, KY.

Tickets for each show are $15 for adults, $12 for seniors 62 and over, and $10 for students. All tickets can be reserved by calling 502-633-0242. More information can be found at the SCCT website.

Doubt, a Parable, focuses on a church school where Sister Aloysius is the principal in 1964. Her strict nature and constant vigilance run headlong into Father Flynn's possible sexual misconduct with a student. As she confronts Flynn with the accusations, her job is threatened. Yet, Aloysius continues the search for answers.

Doubt is the first show in SCCT's Upstairs at 801 series, which oerforms works in a more intimate setting.

SCCT will continue its season with A Christmas Carol, a show that opens late November.
