Rodney Atkins is set to perform tomorrow night, Derby Eve, as part of Kroger's Fest-a-Ville on the Waterfront.

The New Country Q103.1 and Country Legends 103.9-sponsored performance will take place on the Louisville waterfront beginning at 8 p.m. Candy Coburn, a Kentucky native, will open the concert, and Atkins will headline. A 2010 Pegasus Pin is required for entry into the performance.

Keep in mind, like many other major Derby events, this one is expected to be packed. Make sure you allow yourself plenty of time to get downtown, parked, and into Waterfront Park.

Atkins has been having a successful career, reaching number one on the Billboard country music charts with songs like It's America, Watching You, and If You're Going Through Hell (Before the Devil Even Knows). The If You're Going Through Hell album earned platinum sales for Atkins.

Coburn, meanwhile, has released the album Pink Warrior. Part of the proceeds from album sales will help benefit the Susan G. Komen for the Cure.
