    Bit to Do

Who knew reading a play could turn out deadly?  Wayward Actors Company will present Rehearsal for Murder beginning on Thursday.

Rehearsal for Murder performances will take place on Dec. 16, 17, 18, and 20 at 7:30 p.m. each night.  A matinee show will occur on Dec. 19 at 2 p.m. All performances will go on in the Mex Theater at the Kentucky Center for the Arts, located at 501 West Main Street in downtown Louisville.

Tickets for the Dec. 16, 17, 18, and 19 shows are $16 per person.  A special industry night performance on Dec. 20 will be $11 per person.  All tickets for the 90 minute show can be purchased at the Kentucky Center box office, the Kentucky Center website, or by calling 502-584-7777.  More information on the show can also be found at the Kentucky Center website.

In Rehearsal for Murder, an acting group gets set for a play's first reading. Those in the room realize they have all worked for the same playwright at other times.  Even more startling is that they are in the same room where, one year to the day ago, the playwright's fiancee was murdered.  While going through the play, the group figures out that the previous facts may not be coincidence.

Following Rehearsal for Murder, Wayward Actors Company will present Tom Griffin's Amateurs.  Performances will take place in February.
