Tim Profitt, the Rand Paul campaign worker who was accused of stomping on a woman at a debate between Rand Paul and Jack Conway last October, has entered a guilty plea in the case.
He will serve one year of unsupervised probation and reimburse the victim for $600 in medical costs.
There is a technicality worth noting. The plea entered by Mr. Profitt is called an "Alford Plea." This apparently means that he agrees that there is enough evidence to convict him, without addressing the actual facts of the case.
