In case you missed it this morning, Kentucky Senator Rand Paul has announced his bid for the 2016 Presidential race. The announcement, made from Downtown Louisville, quickly took over the Twittersphere, knocking #BadChoiceFuneralSongs into the second place trending spot.

Here's a roundup of how Twitter feels about Rand Paul:

    First, there was some disappointment.

    Followed by some important questions.

    Shows of support.

Even Ted Cruz got in on it.

    Which led to this observation.

Some people brought up Paul's history.

Many people fixated on his logo and merchandise.

And the fact that he's accepting bitcoin donations.

Some questioned Paul's relationship with the Republican Party.

And others were just clearly not on board.
