As if Kentucky Senator Rand Paul isn’t entertaining enough, Bluewater Publications is taking it to a whole new level.  Paul is the subject of their latest title in a series that documents the lives and careers of 2016 Presidential candidates (they’ve already done Hillary Clinton, Joe Biden, and Chris Christie).

Political Power:  Rand Paul will be released this week, and will be available at your favorite local comic book store.  They have planned releases in the next year books about the lives of Marco Rubio, Jeb Bush, Elizabeth Warren, and more as others throw their hats into the gladiator arena of politics that will be the 2016 election.

This is nothing new to Bluewater Publications since their inception in 2008 they have been releasing comics that reflect current events or depict powerful people, in an attempt to convey the power the comic book medium in reaching children to be involved in the world around them.

It is worth noting that the cover of the book features a heavily cheekboned Paul gazing off into space, and a heavily scowling Hilary Clinton and President Barack Obama. It's definitely comic.

    About Brent Owen

Born and raised in Louisville, I have lived here most of my life (except during a short furlough, when I, lovelorn and naive, followed a girl to Baton Rouge). My roots are here, my family, my friends, and my life are all here. I work primarily as a free-lance writer for a few local and regional publications. I have also written two books (one a memoir, the other a novel) that barring some divine intervention, will probably never see the light of day. I find myself deeply ingrained in the local bar scene, or perhaps better said, I often indulge in the local drinking culture. I love music, movies, comedy, and really just about any other live performance art.
