    Murders, getting out of a rut, romance, and more are in store during the 2012-13 theatre season for Little Colonel Playhouse. 

    During the 2012-13 season, Little Colonel Playhouse will present five mainstage shows and two special additions:  [title of show] (Sept.), The Last Romance (Oct.), Gulf View Drive (Dec.), 2 Across (Feb. 2013), Murder in Green Meadows (April 2013), Becky's New Car (June 2013), and the youth show Twelve Angry Jurors (July 2013).  All peformances are to happen at Little Colonel Playhouse, located at 302 Mt. Mercy Drive in Pewee Valley, KY.

    Season tickets are available for $50 for adults and $40 for students and seniors.  More information on purchasing tickets can be found at the Little Colonel Playhouse website or calling 502-241-9906.

    Little Colonel Playhouse will open its season with the special production [title of show].  Two struggling writers have only a limited time to create a masterpiece for a theatre festival.  [title of show] runs from September 20-23.  Auditions will run on July 29 and 30.  

    The first official production of Little Colonel's season comes with The Last Romance, a play that uses humor and heartbreak to describe men and women's relationships in their classic years.  The Last Romance takes place Oct. 11-21.

    Head down to Gulf View Drive for the next Little Colonel show.  The play is a continuation of The Last Train to Nibroc, featuring Raleigh and May.  This time its 1953, the couple are married but facing constant pressure from the outside world and their inner family circle.  Gulf View Drive runs from Dec. 6-16.

    Opening the 2013 part of the season is 2 Across.  Opposites attract, and are changed by their encounter, thanks to crossword puzzles on a train.  This production takes place from Feb. 7-17.

    Spring makes the perfect time for murder in Murder in Green Meadows.  A friendship in the quiet, suburban Green Meadows could turn out to have deadly consequences.  Murder in Green Meadows takes place April 18-28.  

    Becky's New Car will close out the mainstage 2012-13 Little Colonel season.  The comedy features Becky, stuck in middle management and middle life, gets an opportunity to escape it thanks to a millionaire, but will she take it?  Find out June 13-23.

    Little Colonel Playhouse will also present the youth summer show Twelve Angry Jurors in July 2013.
