Money, women's issues, and a tuxedo at Christmas are among what is explored in Bunbury Theatre's 2014-15 theater season.

During its season, Bunbury Theatre will present five shows: Spreading it Around (October), Forgive Me It's Christmas (December), A Life in the Theatre (Feb.-Mar. 2015), Bonhoeffer - The Last Encounter (April 2015), and Women on Fire (June 2015). All performances are to go on at the Henry Clay Theatre, located at the Henry Clay Building at 604 S. Third Street in Old Louisville.

Season tickets are available from Bunbury Theatre, including reserved seating for $97 per person, general admission at $88 per person, senior reserved seating at $87 per person, and senior general admission at $78 per person. All season tickets can be purchased at the Bunbury Theatre website.

For those wanting to get on the Bunbury Theatre stage, auditions for the 2014-15 theater season will take place on Aug. 18, 19, and 20. More information on how to sign up for auditions can also be found on Bunbury's website.

Bunbury Theatre opens the season with Spreading It Around, which deals with the creation of the S.I.N. (Spending It Now) and its founder, who is sick of giving money to her thoughtless children. The production will go on Oct. 10-26.

Following in December is Forgive Me It's Christmas, an original work from Bunbury artistic director Juergen K. Tossmann. Loomis is to put on a tuxedo for an event where Meryl is to receive an award. When Loomis gives the tux to a homeless man, however, everything gets chaotic. Forgive Me It's Christmas takes place Dec. 5-21.

Bunbury's first show of the new year will be A Life in the Theatre, focusing on two actors on opposite sides of their respective careers dealing with issues in and out of the theater. The show takes on a life at Bunbury from Feb. 13-Mar. 1.

Moving into spring is Bonhoeffer - The Last Encounter, another original work Tossmann. In the production, the final days of German pastor and theologian Dietrich Bonhoeffer, held in a Nazi concentration camp, are explored. The production will happen April 9-26.

Last, but certainly not least, Bunbury will present Women on Fire, which looks at women's issues from varying perspectives, including an ad executive mother and a construction worker, all with humor and wisdom. Women on Fire will occur June 12-28.
