Get ready to go down memory lane this weekend. Helmet the hard rock hold over from the 90’s will be tearing their way through town this weekend. Frontman Page Hamilton and company finally break their moratorium on touring (they haven’t been on the road since 2013), by celebrating the 20th anniversary of their landmark record Betty. The critically acclaimed album has often been regarded as the group’s “experimental” album, which often makes it a point of contention or affection among those loyal to the band.
The group will performing the album in its entirety, as well as, many fan favorites from the band’s six other releases. And with rumors circulating that Helmet has been working on material for an eighth album, longtime fans might cross their fingers for a glimpse of some new material, as well.
They will be performing tomorrow night at The New Vintage, show starts at 9:00 PM and tickets are $20-$25.
