Tonight, from 6- 9pm at Tim Faulkner Gallery (632 E Market Street), Jeaneen Barnhart opens up her collection for her latest art reception.

Titled “In the Pink Room”, this anthology of Barnhart’s work is being referred to as “silky, sexy & sultry”.

It’s a great opportunity to see her passion for painting and also a chance to see/meet her up close and personal.

As Jeaneen tells us “When I have captured a pure emotion in my work, there is a quick celebration, a burst of excitement and an immediate return to the art. My intent is to reveal the energy and emulate the figure through loose interpretation of uninhibited line and depth.  I don’t want to illustrate or create a portrait. I only want what is necessary.”

Barnhart, who unexpectedly lost her father earlier this month, was forced to reschedule the opening because of his passing.

She is honoring his powerful influence, passion and devotion to her aspirations of art by extending another invitation for her opening tonight, September 24th.

Jeaneen Barnhart is one of Louisville’s finest artists.

You’ve seen her work on the Official Kentucky Derby posters as well as in HBO’s series “Entourage”.

To see more of her artistry and expression, stop by Tim Faulker Gallery tonight to join her “In the Pink Room”.
