I wrote an article early last week about the zoning debates that had patrons of the Nach Bar drinking indoors, rather than being able to roam about in their outdoor beer garden. As of late last week the debate is off the table and customers are again able to enjoy their drinks out back in the Nach's patio area all evening, as well as up front in the small area in front of the bar until dark. This, I'm sure comes as a great relief to the owners of this establishment, because more room obviously translates into more people being able to frequent this joint, and that in turn means more money is being circulated into our Germantown neighborhood.
As this often happens when I get canned for a few straight days over the weekend I can't quite remember if it were Friday or Saturday that we hit up the Nach, but regardless, the scene looked as if it hadn't missed a beat. There were hundreds of attendees, the beer was flowing, and the music played loudly in the background. Needless to say, it was a good time, and I can generally judge that by how much of an evening that I can actually recall come the next morning. Hopefully the future will continue to bring guests from all over the city to this place, and others in the surrounding Germantown area. Located at 969 Charles Street, Louisville, Ky. 40205
