    Last week while Louisville was all about Derby madness, music news from Lexington was announced that should keep you excited for good times with good vibes, friends, and a drink in your hand. Moontower Music Festival finished announcing the lineup for its second year last Wednesday. The festival takes place on August 29. 

    Moontower announced its full lineup at release parties each month over the last four months and the lineup should get all kinds of people in Louisville excited. The full lineup is as follows:

    J. Roddy Walston & The Business

    The Weeks

    The Apache Relay

    Space Capone

    The Lonely Biscuits

    Ben Sollee

    Parker Millsap

    Brave Baby

    Buffalo Rodeo

    Tyler Childers

    Moontower will take place at Masterson Station Park just outside Lexington. A general admission ticket costs $50. Want to upgrade to VIP? $75. Music will last from 11:00 a.m. - 11:00 p.m. with one still be to announced late night show that starts at 12:00 p.m. There is parking on site or you can use Moontower's bus service that will drive from downtown Lexington to the festival site all day. Many food and drink vendors at the festival will be local to Lexington including West Sixth Brewing. Children under 10 are allowed into the festival with an accompanying adult ticket.
