Still in shock that Forecastle concluded over one month ago? Lexington has got just the thing to cure your sadness and it comes by way of Moontower Music Festival, a mid-major music festival in its second year.

Things are looking up for Moontower from year one to two because for the 2015 festival they doubled the number of bands in their lineup and moved to a much bigger space. Those are good signs.

The lineup, which is made up of some Louisville favorites, includes Moon Taxi, J. Roddy Walston & The Business, The Weeks, The Apache Relay, Space Capone, The Lonely Biscuits, Ben Sollee, Mike Mains & The Branches, Parker Millsap, Brave Baby, Heyrocco, Buffalo Rodeo, Tyler Childers, Ben Lacy, Tee Dee Young, Coralee and the Townies, Logan Leet & The Lie, and Grayson Jenkins.

General admission tickets are still available for $50. VIP tickets are available for $75. Ticket sales will end Friday at 10:00 p.m.

Moontower Music Festival is located at Masterson Station Park just outside Lexington. There will be food trucks on site and local beer on tap from West Sixth, Country Boy, Alltech, Sweetwater, Ethereal, and Old 502 Winery.
